Klaus Spürkel
Klaus Spürkel (born February 26, 1948 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † July 20, 2016 in Riegel am Kaiserstuhl ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .
Life
Klaus Spürkel's father came from Gelsenkirchen , his mother from Pforzheim . They met in Freiburg, where their father studied medicine and their mother was already practicing as a doctor, and they moved to Pforzheim a few years later. Klaus Spürkel started school there in 1954 and later attended the Kepler Gymnasium and the Hebel Gymnasium . After graduating from high school , he graduated from the Bochum drama school between 1967 and 1970 . Until 1981 he had permanent theater engagements at the Staatstheater Darmstadt , the Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Thalia-Theater in Hamburg . Then he founded his own theater, KUMEDI, in Nimburg, a district of Teningen north of Freiburg im Breisgau, which he ran with his wife Elisabeth Fünfgeld; 18 years later they moved to the former train station in Riegel am Kaiserstuhl.
From 1995 onwards, Spürkel became known to the general public through his portrayal of the pathologist Dr. Bernhard Kocher known in the Stuttgart crime scene . In the SWR television series Die Fallers , he played the role of the family's lawyer. Between 1991 and 1996 he worked alongside Uwe Friedrichsen as Reiner Haider in the crime series Schwarz-Rot-Gold . After various guest and supporting roles in television productions, he played from 2009 to 2010 in the twelve-part miniseries Laible and fresh the pastor Theo Bächle .
For decades Spürkel also acted as a speaker in radio plays.
Spürkel recently suffered from two simultaneous cancers.
