Kleinreinsdorf is located on the state road 1085 coming from Teichwolframsdorf to Langenwetzendorf . It is a street village in a valley at the northwestern foot of the Werzeit-Greizer forest .
history
The first documentary mention took place in 1449 in a loan document of Friedrich, the arguable with the name "gensyt des Waldes Reynstorff". Other sources assume that it was first mentioned in 1240.
The Greizer rule Reuss older line started digging for silver from 1750. However, mining never achieved excessive economic importance and was discontinued at the beginning of the 19th century.
