Mohlsdorf is a district of the rural community Mohlsdorf-Teichwolframsdorf in the east of the Thuringian district of Greiz .
geography
The place borders in the north on the Greizer and Wer dur forest . Before its dissolution, the community consisted of the districts Gottesgrün , Herrmannsgrün , Kahmer , Mohlsdorf, Reudnitz and Waldhaus .
history
On October 21, 1865 Mohlsdorf was connected to the railway line from Greiz to Neumark . In 1994 Gottesgrün, Kahmer and Reudnitz were incorporated into Mohlsdorf. On January 1, 2012, Mohlsdorf and Teichwolframsdorf merged to form Mohlsdorf-Teichwolframsdorf.

On June 1, 1997, the passenger train service on the timetable (KBS) 543 Greiz – Neumark was set. On January 28, 1999, the Federal Railway Authority approved the closure of the line. Mohlsdorf had lost its connection to the railway network after almost 134 years.
The bus line 18 of the Personen- und Reiseverkehrs GmbH Greiz serves several stops in Mohlsdorf, Reudnitz, Gottesgrün and Kahmer. It connects the towns with Greiz every hour and offers connections to the trains to Gera.
