Kleinsemmering is a village in the community of Gutenberg-Stenzengreith , which is located in Eastern Styria .
Incorporations
Until 1951 the place was an independent municipality, with effect from January 1, 1952 it was combined with the municipality of Garrach to form the new municipality of Gutenberg an der Raabklamm. Since then, the Gutenberg municipal office has been in the local area. Kleinsemmering has been part of the new Gutenberg-Stenzengreith community since 2015 . Kleinsemmering has served as a transshipment point for cows and sheep since 2018.
At the 2010 census , Kleinsemmering had 907 inhabitants.
history
The earliest written document is from 1223 and is "Semernic". The name goes back to the Slovenian cemerika (settlement near hellebore).
