Kleinwusterwitz is a district of the unified municipality of Jerichow in the Jerichower Land district in Saxony-Anhalt .
geography
The place is on the state road 76 between Genthin and Rathenow in northern Saxony-Anhalt , it is characterized by agriculture and is in the midst of fields, meadows and forests on the Stremme , which belongs to the catchment area of the Havel .
history
Kleinwusterwitz is a street village of Wendish origin with a meadow in the center of the village at the junction to Schlagenthin.
The place Kleinwusterwitz was first mentioned in a document around 1400 as "Lüttekin Wousterwitcze". On September 30, 1928 was Gutsbezirk Kleinwusterwitz associated with the rural community Kleinwusterwitz. Kleinwusterwitz was an independent municipality until Demsin was founded on July 1, 1950. After the dissolution of the municipality of Demsin on January 1, 2010, Kleinwusterwitz became a district of Jerichow .
