Schoena-Kolpien

In 1981 the new municipality had 383 inhabitants and an area of 2197 hectares. In 1815, Schöna and Kolpien were incorporated into the Schweinitz district by the treaties of the Congress of Vienna . With the administrative reform of 1952 , the places remained in the Herzberg district . In the course of the district reform in Brandenburg in 1993, the community Schöna-Kolpien was the only one from the Herzberg district not to be incorporated into the Elbe-Elster district , but into the Teltow-Fläming district. In 1992 Schöna-Kolpien merged with 14 other municipalities to form the Dahme / Mark district. The Ministry of the Interior of Brandenburg approved on August 21, 2002 the incorporation of Schöna-Kolpien into the city of Dahme / Mark. However, the merger only became legally effective on October 26, 2003. Schöna-Kolpien had 357 inhabitants at the end of 2002.

The core of the apse, the choir and possibly also the nave are Romanesque, the tower dates from 1778. In 1970 Schöna had 284 inhabitants.
