The Amt Dahme / Mark , in 1992 also just Amt Dahme , is an office established in 1992 in the Teltow-Fläming district of the state of Brandenburg , in which 15 communities in the former Luckau , Luckenwalde and Herzberg districts had merged to form an administrative association. Another municipality was assigned to the office by order of the Brandenburg Interior Minister. After incorporations and community amalgamations, the Dahme / Mark Office then administered three communities. On January 1, 2018, the previously unofficial municipality of Niederer Fläming was incorporated into the office. The official seat is the city of Dahme / Mark .

Geographical location

The Dahme / Mark office is located in the southeast of the Brandenburg district of Teltow-Fläming. In its previous extent it borders in the north on the city of Baruth / Mark and the Unterspreewald office , in the east on the city of Luckau and the non-governmental municipality Heideblick , in the south on the office Schlieben and the non-governmental city Schönewalde and in the south on the Saxon-Anhalt region City of Jessen (Elster) , the unofficial community of Niedergörsdorf and the city of Jüterbog in the west and the unofficial community of Nuthe-Urstromtal in the north.

The Dahme / Mark Office is currently divided into:

history

On May 22, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg gave his consent to the formation of the Dahme Office. May 25, 1992 was set as the date for the establishment of the office. The city of Dahme / Mark was designated as the official seat. The following communities from the districts of Luckau , Luckenwalde and Herzberg were united at the time of formation:

  1. Bollensdorf
  2. Buckow
  3. Gebersdorf
  4. Görsdorf
  5. Kemlitz
  6. Liepe
  7. Mehlsdorf
  8. Niebendorf-Heinsdorf
  9. Niendorf
  10. Prensdorf
  11. Rietdorf
  12. Rosenthal
  13. Schoena-Kolpien
  14. Wahlsdorf
  15. Wildau-Wentdorf

The city of Dahme / Mark was not yet included in the office at the time the office was formed (or was it forgotten in the above list?).

On November 30, 1992, the municipality of Illmersdorf (Jüterbog district) was assigned to the Dahme (Mark) district. On January 1, 1995, the municipalities of Liepe and Wahlsdorf merged to form the new municipality of Wahlsdorf.

On December 31, 2001, the communities of Görsdorf, Prensdorf and Wildau-Wentdorf merged to form the new community of Dahmetal. Also on December 31, 2001, the communities Buckow, Gebersdorf, Kemlitz, Rosenthal and the city of Dahme / Mark merged to form the new city of Dahme / Mark. The communities of Bollensdorf, Illmersdorf, Mehlsdorf, Niendorf, Rietdorf (Amt Dahme / Mark) and the community Ihlow ( Amt Niederer Fläming ) merged on the same date to form the new community Ihlow. On August 21, 2002, the Ministry of the Interior of Brandenburg approved the incorporation of the communities Schöna-Kolpien and Wahlsdorf into the city of Dahme / Mark. However, the incorporations only became legally effective on October 26, 2003.

On October 23, 2003, the municipality of Niebendorf-Heinsdorf was incorporated into the city of Dahme / Mark by law.

As of January 1, 2018, the municipality of Niederer Fläming , which is free of charge, was incorporated into the Dahme / Mark district. On July 6, 2017, the Dahmer Office Committee approved the project. Later, the votes in the municipal councils were also positive. Finally, the contract for integration was signed on July 20, 2017 in the Dahmer town hall. The headquarters of the official administration is still located in the Dahmer town hall, with a branch in Lichterfelde , in which areas such as the registration office and the registry office are still permanently located. Officially, it is said that the restructuring process will take about a year. The step became necessary because the Dahme / Mark office, with its current population of around 6500 , falls below the minimum limit for administrative structures of 8000 inhabitants provided by the state of Brandenburg .
