Wildau

Wildau was first mentioned in a document in 1265 as Wildowe and around 1300 as an oppidum , i.e. a city . Since the place was called Windisch Wildaw during the Middle Ages , it is assumed that there must also have been a village with the name Deutsch Wildaw or Deutsch Wildau , which was abandoned in the 15th century.

Wentdorf

Wentdorf is much younger than Wildau, the name appeared in the 17th century for the first time and referred to a desolate fallen Feldmark .

After the fall of the Wall , Wildau-Wentdorf was in the Luckau district in Brandenburg . On May 25, 1992, the community joined the Dahme / Mark office .
