Konstantin Josef Lüers
Konstantin Josef Lüers OFM (also Constantino José Lüers , born April 22, 1916 in Holtrup ; † July 2, 1997 ) was a German religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Penedo in Brazil.
Life
Konstantin Josef Lüers the stepped Franciscan order in and received on 7 April 1941, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On April 13, 1973, Pope Paul VI appointed him . as prelate of the territorial prelature Óbidos and titular bishop of Valliposita . The Archbishop of Paraíba , José Maria Pires , donated him episcopal ordination on June 17, 1973 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Tubarão , Anselmo Pietrulla OFM, and the Bishop of Ilhéus , Valfredo Bernardo Tepe, OFM.
On March 24, 1976 Paul VI appointed him. to the Bishop of Penedo . Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation from this office on January 26, 1994.
