Kristian Majdahl Pedersen (born August 4, 1994 in Ringsted ) is a Danish football player . He is under contract with Birmingham City .

Career

societies

Kristian Pedersen first played for Benløse IF and moved from fourth division Ringsted IF to second division HB Køge in July 2014 . There he met coach Henrik Pedersen , who saw his potential as a left full-back. In the 2014/15 season , Pedersen played 28 times and scored one goal. He also came to two inserts in the Danish cup competition . A season later he was used in all games in the first half of the season . During the 2015/16 winter break, he took part in team training with German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach at the training camp in Turkey, but an obligation did not materialize. In the second half of the season he played twelve games in the Danish second division for HB Køge.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to Germany for the second division Union Berlin and signed a contract that ran until 2019. Henrik Pedersen had previously recommended Kristian to the club as Union Berlin's assistant coach. In the 2016/17 season, Pedersen played for a long time with 1. FC Union Berlin for promotion and finished fourth in the table at the end of the season. The 2017/18 season ended the club in eighth place in the table.

For the 2018/19 season Pedersen moved to England to the second division club Birmingham City . His contract runs until 2022.

National team

Pedersen was part of the Danish U21 national team . On January 20, 2016, he made his first appearance for this age group in a test match in Belek, Turkey against the Ukrainian U21s. He made his fifth and last appearance in the 3-0 victory on October 7, 2016 in the European Championship qualifier against Bulgaria in Stara Sagora .
