Krottendorf is a former municipality with 2380 inhabitants (as of October 31, 2013) in the east of the federal state of Styria , about 25 kilometers from Graz and in the immediate vicinity of Weiz , the capital of the district of the same name. The Krottendorf settlement was first mentioned in a document in 1403 . As part of the municipal structural reform in Styria , Krottendorf has been merged with Weiz since 2015, and the new municipality continues to bear the name of the municipality of Weiz. The basis for this was the Styrian Municipal Structural Reform Act - StGsrG.
