Kyle Greaux (born April 26, 1988 ) is a sprinter from Trinidad and Tobago who specializes in the 200-meter run .

Athletic career

Kyle Greaux gained his first experience in international championships at the Central American and Caribbean Championships in Morelia in 2013 , where he finished fifth over 200 meters. He qualified over 200 meters for the World Championships in Moscow , where he was eliminated in the run-up with 20.89 s. In 2014 he took part in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow , Scotland , where he was eliminated in the semi-finals over 200 meters with 20.93 s. He then finished fifth over 200 meters at the Central America and Caribbean Games in Xalapa . In 2015 Greaux took part in the Pan American Games in Toronto and was eliminated there in the prerun over 200 meters. At the NACAC Championships in San José (Costa Rica) he finished fifth over 200 meters, as well as with the 4 x 100 meter relay from Trinidad and Tobago. He again took part in the World Championships in Beijing , where he was eliminated again in the run over 200 meters with 20.51 s.

In 2016 he qualified for the first time for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where he ran over 200 meters in the lead 20.61 s and was eliminated. In 2017 he won the B final at the World Relays in the Bahamas with the 4 x 100 meter relay and was fourth with the 4 x 200 meter relay. At the World Championships in London , he reached the semi-finals over 200 meters and was eliminated with the relay in the preliminary round . In April 2018, he finished sixth over 200 meters in 20.63 s at the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast .

In 2015 and 2018, Greaux became the Trinidadian-Tobagian champion over 200 meters and the 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2013 he was also champion with the 4 x 400 meter relay.
