Lahae is an East Timorese place, Aldeia and Suco in the administrative office of Aileu ( municipality of Aileu ).

The place Lahae is located in the northwest of the Sucos, at an altitude of 1178  m .

Lahae has a population of 698 (2015), of which 369 are men and 329 women. The population density is 156.9 inhabitants / km². There are 119 households in the Suco. Almost 72% of the population name Mambai as their mother tongue. More than 27% speak Tetum Prasa .

Before the 2015 territorial reform, Lahae had an area of ​​13.64 km². Now it is 4.45 km². The Suco is located in the southeast of the administrative office of Aileu. To the southwest lies the Suco Fatubossa , north of the Suco Bandudato and east of the Suco Lausi . In the south, Lahae borders the Maubisse administrative office with its Suco Maubisse belonging to the municipality of Ainaro . The Daisoli , a tributary of the Northern Laclós, flows through the north of Lahae .

The country road from Aileu Vila to Maubisse leads across Suco Lahae . In the north-west of Lahae are the place Lahae and a little east the village Denhuni ( Denehuni , Denehuru ) and in the east the place Lacasori ( Lakasori ). To the south is the village of Eralolo ( Erelolo , Erebolo ).

In the Suco there are the five Aldeias Denhuni , Eralolo , Lacasori , Lahae and Riatelo .

politics

In the elections of 2004/2005 was Vasco Rosario de Fatima elected Chefe de Suco and in 2009 re-elected. In the 2016 elections , Domingos Mesquita won.
