Remarks
- ↑ The equivalent in the federal states of the Federal Republic of Germany is called the regional court . In Germany, the designation Landesgerichte stands for courts sponsored by the federal states. In Italy (as well as in Austria) the subordinate local authorities are not legal entities. For historical reasons and because of the comparability of the court with Austrian regional courts, the German name is also officially used in Austria.
- ↑ The Trento Court of Appeal has a branch in Bolzano with an associated public prosecutor's office. The reasons for this are the political division of the Trentino-South Tyrol region into two autonomous provinces and the use of two court languages in South Tyrol .
- ↑ In Italy, the district courts ( district courts ) ( pretura ) were abolished in the 1990s. Their tasks were divided between the regional (es) courts and the justice of the peace. Until the reform of 2013, the branch offices of the regional (es) courts were often located in buildings of the former local courts.
- ↑ Labor jurisdiction in Italy is a branch of ordinary jurisdiction, so the ordinary courts have jurisdiction. In the area of special jurisdiction there are e.g. B. Administrative or financial courts.
