The state parliament elected its board of directors under senior president Hermann Liebmann. Fritz Lüttich became the Landtag Director ( President of Parliament ). Otto Härtel was elected as deputy.
The state parliament met between November 24, 1896 and July 3, 1899 for 29 public plenary sessions in one ordinary and three extraordinary session periods.
