State Parliament of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt (1848)
This article deals with the Extraordinary State Parliament of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt in 1848.
Parliament
Due to the March Revolution , the fifth state parliament was repealed with the highest resolution due to the dissolution of the previous state parliament and the convening of new members on March 27, 1848.
The fifth state parliament in Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt was elected on April 20, 1848. In addition to 15 MPs who were elected according to the previous constitution, there were now additional extraordinary MPs. These are marked with “ao”, but had the same rights as the other state parliament members.

Prince Friedrich Günther appointed Julius von Röder as the Landtag commissioner .
For the first time, the state parliament was able to choose its own board. Friedrich Carl Hönniger became the Landtag Director ( President of Parliament ), August Wilhelm Scheidt became his deputy.
The state parliament met for 14 plenary sessions between April 26, 1848 and May 8, 1848.
