Prince Friedrich Günther appointed Ludwig (Louis) Carl August Freiherr von Ketelhodt and Julius von Röder as state parliament commissioners and thus also as parliamentary president .
The state parliament met for 19 plenary sessions between October 17, 1845 and December 23, 1845. Between November 18 and 24, four more unofficial plenary sessions took place which were not under the direction of the state parliament commissioners. In the following years the state parliament no longer met. A state parliament committee was elected for day-to-day business and consisted of the following members:

The state committee was convened for the last time in 1847. Due to the March Revolution , the state parliament was repealed by the highest resolution on March 27, 1848 due to the dissolution of the previous state parliament and the convening of new members of the cantons .
