The Lasanke , also Lasankenbach or Lüsner Bach ( Italian rio Luson ), is a brook in the Dolomites in South Tyrol . It drains the Lüsner Valley and is a left tributary of the Rienz .

geography

The Lasanke arises from the confluence of several source streams in Gunggan, the bowl-shaped head of the Lüsner Valley between Peitlerkofel , Aferer Geislern , Kofeljoch and Würzjoch . It then flows through the entire Lüsner Valley, accompanied by the Plose on the left and the ridge of the Lüsner and Rodenecker Alm on the right. The only larger settlement on the stream is Dorf , the main town in the valley. In Eisacktal just north of Brixen the Lasanke finally flowing from left Rienz to in its gorge-like lower reaches, a few kilometers before it in the Eisack flows.

Administratively, the course of the Lasanke is almost exclusively in the municipality of Lüsen . Only in the headwaters, in Gunggan, do short sections belong to Brixen , St. Martin in Thurn and Villnöß .
