Three protection racketeers have bought a new attack dog that has become a lifesaver after getting caught in the shooting of a commercial for a kebab house in search of a decent tripe soup .
Awards
The film won first prize at the Hofheim Short Film Festival, came second at the Rüsselsheim Film Festival and third at the Turkey / Germany Film Festival in Nuremberg . In addition, he won the audience award at the Lünen Kinofest in 2002 and the audience award at the Short Cuts Cologne and the Exground Filmfest Wiesbaden in 2003 .
The Wiesbaden film evaluation agency awarded the film the rating of “particularly valuable” and, in June 2002, “short film of the month”.
Others
The film was based on motifs from a script by Ruth Toma and Fatih Akın , which was made into a film three years later under the title Kebab Connection (2005). Both films were produced by the company Desert Film Production .
