description

The massive choir tower built on the highest place in the village on an almost square floor plan is essentially from the late Middle Ages . It is square in the lower main part up to the height of the roof ridge . This is followed by an octagonal upper floor , also made of stone, with regularly hewn corner stones . The spire consists of a flat hood with a lantern . The tower was changed around 1600 and the sacristy was added to it . The years 1601, 1605 and 1626 are roughly carved on three lower stones on the outside of the northeast side of the tower. On the first floor it has narrow, ogival windows . Its octagonal top has a curved hood that supports a lantern. The nave was added in 1726. The year is above the sleek arched portal on the southwest side and on a lower corner stone on the south corner of the church. It is covered with a gable roof.

The church was restored in 1840. During the exterior restoration in 1991/92, the corner stones were painted red. The nave is covered with a basket arched barrel vault made of boards. The retracted choir has a flat ceiling . In it there are remains of late Gothic wall paintings and to the northwest a pointed-arched sacrament house . The interior of the nave comes largely from the time it was built. The pulpit is decorated with inlays . The figures of the Savior and the four evangelists are painted on five arched fields . The sound cover is crowned by the risen Christ . The two-storey, three-sided wooden galleries stand on slightly swellable pillars . The ceiling painting shows the Ascension of Christ . The baptismal font has an octagonal shaft with the year 1575. The wooden ambo , decorated with Gothic tracery , dates from the middle of the 19th century.

The baroque organ front was renewed in 1896. The bell was cast in 1477.
