The Ellerholzhafen lighthouse is located between the entrances to the Kaiser-Wilhelm- and Ellerholzhafen on the Ellerholzhöft in Hamburg-Steinwerder on the Elbe .

The octagonal, upwardly tapering brick tower with an outside platform and green copper lantern house is 19 meters high. In 1969 it was converted to a radar beacon. The lantern house was replaced by a higher one, also made of copper, and a radar antenna was installed on its top .

From around 1910 to 1990 it was called Ellerholzhöft.

The tower was inaugurated on June 20, 1903 and, following an application on May 17, 2005, placed under monument protection in September 2009.
