Leuzhof is a district of the municipality of Insingen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

Approx. The Wethbach flows 0.5 km south of the hamlet and the Wethbachgraben rises approx. 0.5 km to the northeast. Both are left tributaries of the Tauber . A communal road crosses State Road 2419 to Gebsattel (2 km east) and St 1040 (0.5 km west).

history

The Leuzhof was originally under the Comburg Benedictine monastery . Later, the exercised imperial city of Rothenburg , the Fraisch and Bailiwick over the place.

With the community edict (early 19th century), Leuzhof was assigned to the Gebsattel tax district and the Lohr rural community . In the course of the regional reform , Leuzhof was incorporated into Rothenburg on May 1, 1978.
