Love, air and lots of lies is a German film game from 1959 by Peter Beauvais with Eva-Ingeborg Scholz and Gerhard Riedmann in the leading roles. The film was based on a template by Karl Zumbro .

action

The young, lively Katrin Rössle has always wanted to become a stewardess, much to the annoyance of her elderly, down-to-earth parents, because she connects this with the big, wide world that she absolutely wants to get to know. She can finally enforce her wish and registers for the aptitude test. On site, she met the neat pilot Peter Brinckmann, who soon wanted to become a flight captain. The two young people immediately fall in love and marry without informing the families. The young couple doesn't get too many opportunities to develop their happiness, because either co-pilot Peter is on the way or the newly appointed flight attendant Katrin.

In addition, neither of the spouses is averse to flirting, and the charming Mr. Häggeli knows how to charm Katrin particularly eloquently. Misunderstandings and jealousies mean that Katrin's and Peter's marriage is about to end before it has even started. The two newlyweds benefit from the fact that Mr. and Mrs. Rössle want to celebrate their silver wedding with their daughter and son-in-law. Katrin and Peter have to pull themselves together to keep up appearances. This gives their love a real boost, especially since Father Rössle, a successful architect, wants to give both of them a villa designed on their own drawing board as a gift.
