Lin Qingfeng ( Chinese  林清峰 , Pinyin Lín Qīngfēng ; born January 26, 1989 in Changle, Fujian Province ) is a Chinese weightlifter . It was 2012 Olympic champion in the lightweight .

Career

Lin Qingfeng's talent was recognized early on. That is why he has been training in a performance center of the Chinese Weightlifting Association for several years. His trainer is Chen Wenbin. He is 1.67 meters tall and starts in the lightweight, the weight class up to 69 kg body weight.

In 2009, Lin Qinfeng began his international career. He was that year in Bucharest Junior World Champion (U 20) with a duel of 320 kg (147-173) in front of Paisan Hansawong, Thailand, who also achieved 320 kg (145-175), but was a little heavier. At the Chinese national games taking place after this championship, he increased in a duel to 332 kg (150-182) and thus took 3rd place behind Liao Hui , 358 kg (163-195) and Tang Deshang, 341 kg (156-185) .

In 2010 he was the first Chinese lightweight champion with a duel of 345 kg (155-190). He did not come to an international championship this year. In 2011 he was unable to take part in the Chinese championship due to an injury, but started at the 2011 Asian championship in Tongling / China and secured the title there with 328 kg (152-176).

In 2012 he was again Chinese champion of Qiao Ningbo, 339 kg (156-183), with 345 kg (157-188) in a duel. He was then sent to the start at the Olympic Games in London, where he won the gold medal with a duel of 344 kg (157-187) in a superior style ahead of the Indonesian Triyatno , 333 kg (145-188) and Razvan Martin , Romania, Won 332 kg (152-180).

At the Chinese Championships 2013 Lin Qingfeng came in lightweight to 338 kg (153-185) and thus only finished 4th.
