The Town of Linden is located in southwest Wisconsin. The intersection of the three states of Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota, located on the Mississippi , is around 130 km to the northwest; to Illinois it is about 55 km south.

The US Highway 18 into east-west direction through the north of the Town of Linden. Wisconsin State Highway 39 branches off from US 18 in a southerly direction . These streets intersect in the non-town of Mineral Point. In addition, the county highways A, B, E, J, Q and X lead through the area of the town. All other roads are subordinate country roads and partly unpaved roads.
With the Iowa County Airport there is a small airfield in the southeast of the town. The nearest commercial airports are Dubuque Regional Airport in Iowa (around 85 km southwest), Dane County Regional Airport in Wisconsin's capital Madison (around 100 km east-northeast) and Chicago Rockford International Airport (around 160 km southeast).
