The Wisconsin State Highway 133 , which runs along the Wisconsin River, runs through the town in a west-east direction. From this the Wisconsin State Highway 130 branches off to the south. A railroad line of the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad runs along the Wisconsin River for freight traffic , which runs from the Mississippi to Madison and from there to Milwaukee .
