List of Austro-Hungarian submarines (1909–1919)
This page only lists submarines of the Austro-Hungarian Navy , which were built before and during the First World War up to 1919.

- § = raised, captured or captured by the enemy
- × = accident or sunk yourself
- A = Decommissioned (scrapped, scrapped or put to another use)
At the beginning of the First World War, the submarines of the Austro-Hungarian Navy were numbered consecutively with Roman numerals, during the war the "U" was added. Later on, Arabic numerals were used instead of Roman numerals.

* According to the report published on August 14, 1930, data on submarines of the former k. and k. Navy was U 41 made in May 1917 in service. This seems unlikely; it was probably not put into service until early 1918.
At the time of the armistice, U 48 to U 53 and U 101 to U 106 were still under construction.
