List of architectural monuments in Georgensgmünd
The monuments of the Middle Franconian community Georgensgmünd are listed on this page . This table is a partial list of the list of architectural monuments in Bavaria . The basis is the Bavarian Monument List , which was first drawn up on the basis of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973 and has since been managed by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority.
Ensembles
Ensemble market place
The ensemble ( location ) comprises the thoroughfare between the Rezatbrücke and the ascent to the Kirchberg, which has been extended to form a street. This anger-like facility, which follows the course of the open-flowing Steinbach, is the main axis and center of the extensive village of Ansbach, which has been in Ansbach since 1417 and which has enjoyed strong growth as a market place and seat of a former large Jewish community since the mid-19th century . Craftsmen and peasant houses, mostly from the 18th and 19th centuries, line up in a loose sequence on both sides of the market. Century, on the north side mainly two-storey gable buildings, between which the hipped roof house No. 8 sets a special accent, on the south side mainly eaves-side buildings, some still with house gardens. The alternation of sandstone, half-timbered and plastered facades or facade parts conveys a lively picture. To the west the ensemble is dominated by the parish church on Kirchenbuck, a building in the style of the margrave churches, and the two parsonages; the narrow west side of the square is delimited by newer two-storey buildings, some of which have been disruptively modernized. In the east, on both sides of the bridge, the ensemble forms a water front. File number: E-5-76-121-1.
Ensemble town center Hauslach
The ensemble ( location ) includes the hop-growing village of Hauslach, which consists of fourteen old properties and leans against a ridge. The place is first mentioned in a document in 1322. The buildings, mostly three-sided courtyards, are grouped in close succession on both sides of two streets, the thoroughfare and the actual Dorfgasse, which branches off at right angles. It predominantly still shows the type of the hop farm from the 18th and 19th centuries. Century in the Spalter Land, ground-floor sandstone block buildings with steep pitched roofs, mostly over half-timbered gables. The farm building at No. 15 in the ensemble is particularly disturbing. The view of the town from the east is of particular importance. File number: E-5-76-121-2.

- ↑ This list may not correspond to the current status of the official list of monuments. The latter can be viewed on the Internet as a PDF using the link given under web links and is also mapped in the Bavarian Monument Atlas . Even these representations, although they are updated daily by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation , do not always and everywhere reflect the current status. Therefore, the presence or absence of an object in this list or in the Bavarian Monument Atlas does not guarantee that it is currently a registered monument or not. The Bavarian List of Monuments is also an information directory. The property of a monument - and thus the legal protection - is defined in Art. 1 of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act (BayDSchG) and does not depend on the mapping in the Monument Atlas and the entry in the Bavarian Monument List. Objects that are not listed in the Bavarian Monument List can also be monuments if they meet the criteria according to Art. 1 BayDSchG. Early involvement of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation according to Art. 6 BayDSchG is therefore necessary in all projects.
