history

The place was first mentioned in 1316 as a "house hole". Originally it belonged to the local noble family of the Lords of Hausen . In 1403 Volther von Seckendorf von Stopfenheim gave the Heilsbronn monastery a hat in Hauslach. After the aristocratic family died out, the Ansbach margraves and Nuremberg patricians ( Holzschuher , Kreß , Tucher , Böhm) acquired the farms. In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Roth from 1608 there were 13 properties in Hauslach, including eight farms and four estates. As a result of the 30-year war , the place became deserted in 1633. It was not until 1654 that Hauslach was repopulated by exiles .

For the year 1671 it is documented that Hauslach and Georgensgmünd formed a community. At that time the Abenberg Nursing Office had 8 subjects in both places. In 1732 there were 11 properties in Hauslach, according to Johann Georg Vetter's descriptions of the upper office . A farm, a half farm and two small estates were subordinate to Brandenburg-Ansbach . The remaining properties, seven whole farms, were under different landlords (Nuremberg owners , Crailsheim and Ellwangen). From 1730 onwards there was a 100-year-long dispute with Mosbach over the Lustenau forest area.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 14 properties and a community shepherd's house in Hauslach. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Roth , the village and community rulership was held by the Brandenburg-Ansbach judge Georgensgmünd . Landlord were the Principality Ansbach (judge Georgensgmuend: 1 Ganzhof, 2 Kobler goods , 1 Gütlein; Church Georgensgmuend: 1 Halbhof; stewardship Merkendorf : 1 Ganzhof) which eichstättische Box Office Abenberg (2 Full Höfe), the country alms Office of the City of Nuremberg (1 Ganzhof, 1 Köblergut) and Nuremberg owners ( von Fürer : 1 Ganzhof; von Pömer : 1 Ganzhof; von Welser : 1 Halbhof; Dr. Lorsch: 1 Ganzhof). In 1800 there were supposed to have been 18 properties in the village, three of which belonged to the Abenberg care office in Eichstätt.

As part of the community edict, Hauslach was assigned to the Georgensgmünd tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the Georgensgmünd rural community founded in 1811 .
