history

The brickworks was first mentioned by name in the descriptions of the upper office in 1732 by Johann Georg Vetter . At that time it was still subordinate to the administrative office in Friedrichsgmünd .

Towards the end of the 18th century, the brickworks belonged to Georgensgmünd. There was an estate. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Roth . The judge's office in Georgensgmünd was the landlord of the property . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the brickworks was given house number 67 in Georgensgmünd.

As part of the community edict, Ziegelhütte was assigned to the Georgensgmünd tax district, which was formed in 1808 . She also belonged to the rural community Georgensgmünd founded in 1811 .
