history

The place was first mentioned in 1436 as "Ottenhof". The farm was probably named after the family name of the owner at the time. Only later was the courtyard renamed in its current form. Originally, Nuremberg patricians (Grabner, Krafft, Ketzel) were landlords . From 1592 the Roth town clerk Zacharias Fikher took over the farm, who ceded it to the town of Roth in 1631.

At the end of the 18th century Weinmannshof belonged to the municipality of Rittersbach . There was an estate. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Roth . The town judge's office in Roth was the landlord of the Ganzhof . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, Weinmannshof received house numbers 43 and 44 of the village of Rittersbach. In 1804 there were 2 subject families in the place.

As part of the community edict, Weinmannshof was assigned to the Rittersbach tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Rittersbach founded in 1811 .

On May 1, 1978 Weinmannshof was incorporated into Georgensgmünd as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
