List of castles, palaces and fortresses in Albania
The following list shows the castles , palaces and fortresses (or their ruins) in Albania .
According to today's understanding, there are no castles in Albania as unfortified stately residential buildings from the time before the 20th century. However, the list contains buildings that were used by King Ahmet Zogu during his tenure (1928–1939) as a mansion, including large villas and (planned) palaces .
