The approximately 314 Cashels (Iron Age to Medieval hill fortes ), 34 (Coastal) Promontory Forts , 4 Hill Forts (Inland Promontory Forts), 5 Cliff-Edge Forts (Promontory Forts on inland rock spurs) and 224 prehistoric ring forts are not yet included .
