List of chambers of commerce and trade in Austria-Hungary
This list names the chambers of commerce and trade in Austria-Hungary .
With the law on the establishment of chambers of commerce and industry of March 18, 1850, chambers of commerce and industry were established in the Austrian Empire . They had the duties of chambers of commerce . Note: Those chambers of commerce and trade in today's Italy that no longer belonged to Austria-Hungary from 1859 are not listed. They gained particular importance after the electoral reform of 1873, after which the chambers elected some of the members of the Reichsrat (and the state parliaments). Today the Austrian Economic Chambers are the successors.
