List of cultural assets in Därstetten

The list of cultural assets in Därstetten contains all objects in the municipality of Därstetten in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in category A and B are fully included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

Rural house built in 1756 by the carpenter Hans Messerli , with a Sunday parlor from 1760. Designed as a “prestige object” for a stately Simmental farmhouse, the building consists of sturdy and lively contoured construction timber, which is covered in a net-like manner by carved frieze zones and accompanying flat carvings . The decorative painting is also emphasized by the artistic painting.

Farmhouse built in 1642 of architectural and artistic importance, which sets an impressive accent in the townscape. It is a mixed construction on a solid base level with painted corner cuboids. The plasticity and ornamentation of the front is increased floor by floor by linking carved and painted ornamental and inscription bands to form units.

Representative rural house built by Hans Messerli in 1759 . Two fully developed facades under a large gable roof , the habit of which is revealed in the carpentry skill cultivated by Messerli with a pronounced late-baroque design will. Characteristic are the paintings in the so-called younger Simmental painting style as well as the figure representations, which are attributed to the painter Anthoni Schwaller.

Church building built at the end of the 12th century, consecrated to Our Lady until the Reformation and the seat of an Augustinian monastery . Simple hall church with apse and a sweeping canopy, attached to it is a tower with a pointed helmet from 1926. The current appearance of the nave with flat ceiling , rectangular choir and gallery is due to several renovation phases in the 13th, 15th and 17th centuries.
