List of nature reserves in Guinea-Bissau
The list of nature reserves in Guinea-Bissau lists all nature reserves in the West African country of Guinea-Bissau .
The protected areas are subject to the public law Instituto da Biodiversidade e das Áreas Protegidas . With around 470,000 hectares, this indicates around 15% of the national territory of Guinea-Bissau as nature protected, of which around two thirds are marine and estuary areas . With the further expansion of the protected areas, especially in Complexo Dulombi, Boé e Tchetche (see below), which has been developed since 2015 , the proportion of nature reserves in the country's area is to increase to 26.3%.
Guinea-Bissau currently has eight nature reserves, three of which are national parks and two more are planned.
