List of cities in the Dominican Republic

This is a list of cities in the Dominican Republic .

By far the largest agglomeration in the Dominican Republic is the Ozama region with the Distrito Nacional and Santo Domingo with a population of 3,339,410 (as of December 2010). This means that a third of the country's population is concentrated in the capital region.

The following table shows the cities with more than 20,000 inhabitants, the results of the census of December 12, 1981, September 24, 1993, October 18, 2002 and December 2010 as well as the region and province to which the city belongs, listed. The population figures relate to the respective urban settlement in the narrower sense - the geographical urban area - not to the city or municipality in the political sense.
