The following list includes all coach the football team of Monarcas Morelia since the last promotion to the Primera División for the 1981-82 season until the sale of the franchise to the Mazatlan FC after the season 2019/20.
Former Mexican goalkeeper Antonio Carbajal , who was the first player to take part in five World Cups , was the longest in office . He looked after the Monarcas from January 1985 to September 1995. Tomás Boy , captain of the Mexican national team at the 1986 World Cup in his own country, looked after the team three times and for a total of about six years between 1996 and 2012. The only championship title so far In the winter of 2000, Morelia won under the direction of Luis Fernando Tena , who coached the Monarcas again in 2008/09 and won the gold medal at the 2012 Olympic football tournament as head coach of the Mexican Olympic team. The Monarcas celebrated their only cup win in the 2013 Apertura, directed by the Argentine Carlos Bustos .
