Early Gothic, two-aisled church building with net rib and star rib vaults typical of the era. A converted, original defense tower of Arbing Castle serves as a church tower and symbol of the community.

The owners of the castle on the Schlossberg in Arbing appeared in the first half of the 12th century as followers of the Lords of Perg. The baptismal name Wenzel or Wetzel, which occurs frequently in the family, eventually became a family name. In the 15th century the Walchen owned the castle. They rebuilt the castle, built the church and a defense tower in the castle area in 1483.

The Jägerhäusl has been privately owned for many years and is used as an exhibition and storage room. Cross vaults have been preserved inside the building. The building can also be seen on the Vischerstich of Arbing Castle.

The Way of the Cross leads from the village up to the parish church and the castle on the so-called Heimkehrerstiege.

Description: Brief information about the monument.

The table is sorted alphabetically according to the location of the monument. The sorting criterion is the cadastral municipality and within this the address.
