After the parish elevation on August 15, 1656, the tavern had to serve as a rectory. In 1713 and 1889 the rectory burned down and was rebuilt. After the Second World War, the utility rooms were converted into the first rectory and used for retreats and retreats. In 1991/92 the service wing was rebuilt and a kindergarten was housed, the parish hall was renewed and the first floor of the rectory was renovated. In 2007/2008 the ground floor was completely refurbished and a parish office with rooms for the pastor and secretariat was set up.

The parish church Rechberg is dedicated to St. Nikolaus and was mentioned in a document as early as 1209 as a branch church of Pierbach. The parish elevation was 1656. Joachim Enzmillner, the parish was incorporated into the Dominican convent Windhaag. The nave hall is still Romanesque and has flat roofs. In 1956 remains of frescoes from the 13th century were discovered, but whitewashed again. The two-bay choir, built around 1530 with a three-eighth end, is equally wide and vaulted with mesh ribs. In 1995 the outside of the church was renovated after the sacristy, the altars, the pulpit, the gallery, the organ and the tower were affected by alterations and restorations in the previous decades.

The Großdöllnerhof is an approximately 400-year-old Mühlviertel three-sided farm that was managed by the Pehböck family on a full-time basis until 1968. In 1994 the community acquired the farm and adapted it as a farmer's museum and event center.
