The Antonius house is a former Franciscan monastery near the Danube and has been used for religious events in the Strudengau since 1997 after renovation . The monastery was founded in 1622 for the purpose of the Counter-Reformation , closed on October 29, 1784 by Emperor Joseph II and later used as an official building and prison. Windows in flat profiled stone frames, an oval ox-eye window in a primitive wooden frame as well as a stone door frame with skylight and original wooden door from the period after 1800 are remarkable. The monastery garden has a large fountain in an octagonal granite setting. The cloister corridor is angled and runs around three sides of the courtyard.

The parish church of St. Giles in Grein is a late Gothic, but heavily renovated hall church with a baroque high altar from 1749 with a painting by Bartolomeo Altomonte . The pulpit with the four church fathers was donated in 1679 by the castle lady of Greinburg.

The primary school has been located here since 1826. The building was given its current shape in 1889 and was modernized in the early 1970s. After the flood disaster in 2002 , a thorough renovation including renovation was necessary. While the entrance from the church square gives the impression of a single-storey building, the south-facing view shows a block-like, three-storey schoolhouse.

The Kalvarienbergkapelle contains the artistically significant group of figures created by Johann Worath around 1660. The figures are late baroque, life-size figures of the crucified, the two thieves and the three assistant figures hll. Mary, Magdalena and Johannes. The Kalvarienberg was originally located on the monastery area by the monastery wall. After the Franciscan monastery was abolished, the figures belonged to the city of Grein and were later part of the municipal property. At the beginning of the 1960s, the Calvary was rebuilt at its current location.

The viaducts of the Donauuferbahn cross the Friedhofstrasse downstream, as well as Feldgasse, Greinerbach and Greinerbachstrasse ( Lage ), Jubiläumsstrasse ( Lage ), Greiner Strasse (B119) ( Lage ), Greinerwaldstrasse (L573) and Kreuznerbach ( Lage , 5- arching, 16 m high, 70 m long, completely renovated in 2016), and the Gießenbach ( location , partly already in the cadastral community of Struden of St. Nikola an der Donau .)
