The former Waldhausen Abbey was built in 1147 and closed in 1786 by Josef II. The collegiate church has an early baroque style under master builder Carlo Canevale from 1647 to 1680 and equipped with stucco and frescoes, which is flooded with light through bright side windows. The 19 meter high high altar in black and gold by master carpenter Paul Deniffl from Passau also dates from this period. The Waldhausen mummies are not open to the public.

Only two service wings of the former north and west wing remain. A two-storey building in the shape of a hook with a five-storey gate tower. Renovated around 2001 for the state exhibition (2002) and now includes a museum on the history of the monastery.

Former citizen corps house, which was converted into the rectory in 1800. The facade with simple plaster structure and inside with needle cap barrels.
