After a fire from 1622 to 1624, a nave was built for the north tower from the 14th century, and from 1777 to 1779 it was baroque and received rich rococo furnishings. With architect Clemens Holzmeister , the nave was extended from 1967 to 1968 and a vestibule was built. The organ was originally built by Franz Weber in 1867; it was subsequently changed. The ceiling paintings in the middle medallions and side cartouches were created by Johann Josef Wörle in 1777 , the fresco on the west side is by Wolfram Köberl from 1967.

The chapel of the dead under the baroque vestibule in the west of the church was built in 1777 and demolished in 1967/1968 and rebuilt according to plans by Clemens Holzmeister . The crucifixion group in the death chapel is attributed to Josef Georg Witwer .

The cemetery around the church was consecrated in 1383, expanded in 1725 and 1968 and surrounded with a wall in 1966. There are wrought iron crosses in the cemetery from the end of the 18th century.

The chapel of St. Martin stands out of the valley in the hamlet of Tschafein. The hall building with a wooden barrel with a retracted stab cap vaulted choir has a wooden belfry and was built in 1678 instead of a previous building that was destroyed by floods.
