A church was first mentioned in a document in 1385, today's late Gothic building was built in the second half of the 15th century and rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1716/1717. The sacristy was added in 1964. The building is structured on the outside with triangular struts, plinths, coffin cornices and corner pilaster strips with tracery gables. The tower on the north side of the choir has a pointed gable helmet, painted corner blocks and a bell storey separated by cornices, on its north side there is a painting of St. Christopher by Anton Spieß from 1933. The baroque interior is vaulted by a needle cap barrel and designed with pillars with pilasters and entablature pieces. The vault frescos with scenes from the life of Jesus and Mary were created by Anton Kirchebner in 1759 .

As early as 1400, the Pettneu tower is proven to be owned by a Jakob Überreiner. Only the lower parts of the northern and partly also the western wall, which is almost two meters thick, have been preserved. Apparently the tower was violently destroyed.

The core of the baroque rectory dates from the 18th century and was renovated in 1968/69 and 1996. Since 2003 it has housed the Pettneu art space in the basement area . The massive, two-storey wall construction with a post construction in the northern part of the building and a hipped roof has a brick staircase on the south side and a closed arched portal.

The station building, built in 1884, is one of the smallest type of state railway reception building on the Arlbergbahn . The two-storey building with a rectangular floor plan has a two-axis central projection, wood-paneled gables and a hipped gable roof. According to the source, the single-storey side wing with a plastered facade and built-in veranda as a platform roof analogue no longer exists. The Pettneu train station has been unoccupied since 1992, goods handling was discontinued in 1994 , the new stop was opened in 1995 and the station building was inoperative.

The church was built from 1638 to 1642 as a plague church, renovated in the second half of the 18th century and renovated and expanded in 1927/28 according to plans by Karl Ludwig Paulmichl . The baroque building with a round apse and north tower has a round arch portal with a keystone from 1789. The interior of the four-bay nave is designed with pilasters and a needle cap barrel. The ceiling frescoes were created by Johann Georg Witwer in the fourth quarter of the 18th century and show the apostle communion in the choir in an illusionistic dome, the four evangelists in the spandrels and scenes from the life of St. Rochus.

The rectory is located southeast of the church in Schnann . The two-storey building with a gable roof dates from around 1900. Entrance on the north side of the eaves via a wooden vestibule. The wooden gable has an openwork cut-out floral pattern.

The two-storey, transversely divided courtyard with a gable roof has been largely preserved in the original Baroque shape and proportions from the 18th century, with minor additions. The business section was rebuilt in the 20th century. The residential part in the eastern half of the building is entirely made of masonry, the two separate residential units are each accessed on the gable side via a central corridor. The baroque facade shows strong, three-dimensional plaster structure: corner blocks, pilaster framing on the door on the upper floor and architectural framing of the windows with arched frieze. In the pediment there are two quadrilateral oculi . The hallway and kitchen inside are barrel vaulted.

The brick niche shrine with a gable roof and open vestibule on the road from Schnann to Strengen was erected in 1840 on the basis of a pledge. In the arched niche there is a painted crucifixion group with a purgatory scene.

The neo-Gothic chapel was erected in 1893/94 in place of a previous building presumably dating from the 17th century and consecrated in 1906. The three-bay wall construction with drawn-in, three-sided closing choir and roof turret is structured with buttresses. On the east facade there is a rectangular portal under a vestibule, with a staircase in front of it. Inside, the two-bay choir has a ribbed vault , the three-bay nave has an open wooden beam roof truss. The fresco of St. Trinity on the Triumphal Arch was created by Franz Paul Mark in 1903.

The chapel was built in 1779/1782 on the basis of a vow. The late baroque wall construction with a round apse has a shingled gable roof and a shingle roof turret with an onion helmet. The facades are designed with painted corner blocks and frame frames on the wall openings and a sundial on the south side. At the entrance facade in the east there is a flat segment arch portal. Inside, the central room has a flat dome and rich architectural paintings. The paintings show Abraham's sacrifice and the brazen serpent in the dome, depictions of angels with instruments of torture in the arches, and a painted landscape background in the round apse.

The Way of the Cross on the way to the Kalvarienbergkapelle was built in the second half of the 19th century. It consists of five brick-built niche shrines with shingle-covered gable roofs and arched niches. In the barred niches there are picture panels with scenes from the Passion of Christ.

The cemetery was laid out north of the church from 1921 . The chapel integrated into the northern cemetery wall was built in 1921 according to plans by Karl Ludwig Paulmichl . The frescoes on the entrance facade (Last Judgment) and on the altar wall (mercy seat) were created by Rafael Thaler in 1928 .
