List of former state representations in Bonn
This list shows which buildings in the former federal capital Bonn were used by the representations of the federal states at the federal level (state representations) in the period from 1949 until the relocation of the seat of parliament and government to Berlin ; how they came about, what changes they have undergone and how they are used today. In the first year after the founding of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1949, some state representations were initially housed in and in the so-called "press houses" at the Bundeshaus and in the Villa Henkel (country house) in Unkel . The relocation of the last state representations to Berlin did not take place until the end of 2000 due to the later date of the relocation of the Federal Council seat (summer 2000).
