List of the most frequent flight routes by passenger volume
The following list sorts the most frequent flight routes in the world according to passenger volume. A person is counted as a passenger who lands, departs or transfers at an airport . If the same person flies the same route there and back, it is counted twice.

The most frequent flight routes between two airports worldwide according to the number of passengers. The vast majority of routes were national routes within a country. The increase in passenger numbers compared to the previous year and the distance between the two airports in kilometers are also given.
