Incidents
- On December 25, 1967, a Douglas DC-3 of the Thai Airways Company ( aircraft registration HS-TDH ) had an accident while approaching Chiang Mai Airport. Despite the fog and with a visibility of 100 meters, the captain decided to make a visual approach along the middle of three streets that led to the runway. However, he confused this with the right of the three and only noticed this late. When attempting to intercept the machine, it sheared and hit the ground, killing 4 out of 31 people on board.
