The list of mines near Wildemann in the Harz region contains an overview of the mines , tunnels and shafts in the vicinity of the former mining town of Wildemann in the Harz region .

Mining at Wildemann began in the 12th century on the Zellerfeld gangway between Wildemann and Clausthal-Zellerfeld . The silver deposits led to the establishment of the place in 1529 and to the granting of mountain freedom in 1553 . In 1924 the last Ernst-August (Wildemann) mine was closed.
