Live in London is the fourth live album by the American thrash metal band Testament . It was released on CD and DVD in 2005 via Spitfire Records .
Origin and background
In 2005 there was a reunification of the "classic" Testament band line-up that existed between 1987 and 1992. The band played ten concerts in Europe in May 2005 , the third of which was recorded on May 8, 2005 in London . For the first eight songs, John Tempesta was on drums and was replaced by Louis Clemente for the remaining songs. The 14 songs on the album are taken from the band's first five studio albums. In addition to the concert in Innsbruck , the DVD contains recorded backstage impressions and an interview with the band.

reception
Buffo Schnädelbach from the German magazine Rock Hard described Live in London as a sound carrier that is worth the money due to its "best of character". However, he was of the opinion that the DVD version "makes more sense" because of the longer playing time. Björn Backes from the online magazine Powermetal.de described the performance recorded for the album as a “very, very strong concert that should inspire every Testament fan from the very beginning”.
