Brotherhood of the Snake is the eleventh studio album of the Bay Area - Thrash metal band Testament . It was released on October 28, 2016 by Nuclear Blast .

Origin and style

The album was recorded from April 27 to July 8, 2016 at Trident Studios in Pacheco , Deer Creek Studios in Nevada City, and Spin Studio in New York City and produced by Eric Peterson and Chuck Billy. Juan Urteaga was a sound engineer and Andy Sneap mixed and mastered the album. Since First Strike Still Deadly from 2001 it is the first album with Steve DiGiorgio on electric bass and the meanwhile fifth collaboration with Andy Sneap, who has mixed all records since The Gathering (1999) and Dark Roots of Earth (2012) produced. The album comprises ten tracks and was released on CD in digipak and vinyl . Brotherhood of the Snake is based on the hard Thrash Metal of its predecessor.
